Our 2019 Big Give SA will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 12 Midnight until 11:59 p.m.
On Friday, I explained the two different challenges for our students. The first challenge is Ready, Set, Go! and challenges students to find 12 individuals who are willing to give at least $12 on Thursday between 12 Midnight and 11:59 p.m. The second challenge is Going for the Gold! which asks students to set a personal goal of at least $150.00. Details on the two challenges and incentives for students completing the challenges can be found on our Big Give SA Information Page.
If your student wants to Go for the Gold!, we ask that you please include their name when you sign up. Simply visit Blessed Sacrament’s Giving Page and click on the Green Fundraise Button! You can use your email address, but it would be best to use their name. Once you sign-up to fundraise, you and your student can include a message, photo, video, etc.
Tomorrow, we will be sending home a tracking sheet for each student to write down the names of individuals who gave at least 12 dollars. These are due back to the School Office on Friday morning so we can begin the verification process.
This year, the Big Give SA changed how prize money is being allocated. Therefore, we do not have set Power Hours as in previous years. We do, however, want to ensure we have as many unique donors throughout the day!
As in previous years, this is not a required fundraiser. This fundraiser, however, enhances the educational experience of our students. You can learn how we have spent Big Give SA money and how we hope to continue using Big Give SA money on our Blessed Sacrament Giving Page.
