Blessed Sacrament Families,
Shortly before the COVID-19 Pandemic, I made the decision to temporarily suspend the Blessed Sacrament Parent-Teacher Committee (PTC) Executive Board. This decision was made with the hope of re-evaluating our PTC purpose, structure, and presence within the school community. Unfortunately, the health pandemic changed the timeline of this process and school health and safety became the primary purpose.
As we begin the 2023/2024 school year, I have brought these tasks back as a priority. It is my hope that by bringing together a group of individuals who demonstrate an amazing sense of commitment to Blessed Sacrament, the re-establishment of our school’s PTC will help with our long-term goal of promoting a strong and healthy home and school connection. While I know there will be challenges and obstacles in re-establishing the PTC, I am confident that it will only lead to greater parental ownership of this vital ministry.
As the PTC Executive Committee begins this important task of reorganizing, I have given it the following mission:
The mission of Blessed Sacrament PTC is to foster a closer relationship between school and home by encouraging family partnership and engagement. Informed by our Catholic faith, and inspired by the Holy Spirit, we prioritize enriching the educational experience of our Blessed Bulldog students through the development of activities, programs, and projects that will support their educational, emotional, social, and spiritual formation.
After prayer and reflection, I have appointed a group of individuals who will lead the journey of reorganization and reimagining our PTC. As the year progresses, the Executive Committee will be asked to formally adopt these positions with any changes the Executive Committee believes will be necessary to make the PTC successful. This appointment will be for one year, concluded on May 30, 2024, and will not count towards any term limits that might be set for future officer elections.
I invoke the Holy Family – Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph – to be with our PTC Executive Committee as they bring our families closer to our God.
In service to the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament,
Michael Fierro

Welcome Back Bulldogs! I hope you had an enjoyable summer and are ready to grow as we begin our 2023/2024 school year!
Our First Day of School will be on Monday, August 14, 2023. We will have a 12:30 p.m. Dismissal with lunch and after school care being provided. Please note that our First Day of School will be a Regular Uniform Day, not a Spirit Dress Day.
Also, we will have Mass this week on Tuesday for the Assumption of the Blessed Mother. The Regular Uniform may be worn as it is still a bit hot for shirts and ties!
Have a GREAT week!
Mr. Fierro
