Counseling

Dr. Katherine McVay, School Counselor

Greetings Blessed Families, my name is Katherine McVay, and this is my third year at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School. I am currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Texas at San Antonio, studying counselor education and supervision. I hope to defend my dissertation this spring semester and graduate in May! I am currently a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas and also a National Certified Counselor. In my practices with children, I believe in supporting the whole child, including social, emotional, and intellectual wellness. I look forward to continuing to serve you and your families here at Blessed!

Mrs. Marisol Rodriguez, School Counselor

My name is Marisol Rodriguez and I have just joined the wonderful staff of Blessed Sacrament School as a School Counselor. My previous work with school counseling was with Northside ISD for 6 years. I am also in the process of obtaining my Licensed Professional Counselor credential. I have four children, ages one, seven, nine, and ten. I truly enjoy working with children and in my work with them, I encourage them to grow to their greatest potential.
