Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is a member of the Archdiocesan Interscholastic Athletic League (AIAL).
The AIAL athletic program is an extension of the educational mission of Catholic schools, complementing the formation of the whole person by encouraging students to pursue excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and Christian discipleship. Through athletic participation, students develop essential life skills, including teamwork, self-discipline, perseverance, resilience, respect, sportsmanship, servant leadership, and a commitment to serving others. These experiences prepare young men and women to become faithful disciples of Christ and responsible leaders within their schools, parishes, families, and communities.
To ensure that Blessed Sacrament Catholic School meets the responsibilities and requirements outlined by the AIAL, families of students participating in the school’s athletic programs must complete the required forms.
The Athletic Handbook Acknowledgement Form must be completed and signed once per academic year. The Parent Agreement for Contest Behavior and the Locker Room and Changing Area Conduct Policy must be completed and acknowledged for each sports season (fall, winter, and spring).
Failure to complete the required forms by the designated deadline will result in the student’s disenrollment from the school’s athletic program.
Please contact Mr. Carlos Miranda, our Athletic Director, with any questions regarding the school’s athletic program or required forms. He can be reached at cmiranda@blessedschool.com.
