Big Give SA

Friends of Blessed Sacrament,

Blessed Sacrament Catholic School will be participating in the 2019 Big Give SA on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 12 Midnight to 11:59 p.m. This 24-Hour online giving campaign helps non-profit organizations across South Central Texas with raising over $15 million dollars over the past four years.

In 2018, Blessed Sacrament raised over $20,000 to assist with our school’s reading and math programs, technology infrastructure, counseling program, and campus improvement projects. This year’s Big Give SA funds will be allocated towards the adoption of new reading and language arts textbooks (3rd Grade – 8th Grade), religion textbooks (All Grades), robotics equipment (4th Grade – 8th Grade), Reasoning Minds – Blueprint and Foundations (PK4-5th Grade), and field trip transportation subsides (All Grades).

We invite you to review the following incentives will be used for our 2019 Big Give SA:

  • Ready, Set, Go! Challenge – All students and staff are invited to participate in this challenge.  The Ready, Set, Go! Challenge requires students to get 12 individuals to give at least $12.00 (or a donation total of $144.00) for the 2019 Big Give SA on Thursday, March, 28, 2019.  Those who accept and meet this challenge may come in a tennis shoes for the remainder of the 2018/2019 school year! Donations must be tracked on the Ready, Set, Go! Challenge Form and returned to the School Office on Friday, March 29, 2019 for verification.
  • Going for the Gold! Challenge – All students and staff are invited to participate in this challenge.  The Going for the Gold! Challenge requires students to set a fundraising goal of at least $150.00.  When a student reaches their established goal, they may come in tennis shoes for the remainder of the 2018/2019 school year!  They will also receive 6 Free Dress Passes that can be used during the Fourth Grading Period!   To accept this challenge, please visit our #2019BigGiveSA Giving Page and click on the GREEN FUNDRAISE button! Be sure to use your child’s name, but your email so that your child’s challenge can be predominately displayed.
