Dear Blessed Sacrament School Family,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Hope Passmore and I recently joined the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School family as a School Counselor through Catapult Learning this school year. I will be on campus Monday-Friday. I am so happy to be here and be a part of such a wonderful school and community!

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Lamar University and my Masters of Arts in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I hold Texas Teacher Certification in ELA/ESL(grades 4th-8th). I gained 5 years in the Education field, serving as AmeriCorps K-2 Literacy Interventionist in Austin ISD, Education Volunteer Teacher with Peace Corps South Africa and English teacher(grades 6-12)in public and private schools in Texas and Missouri. I am licensed to practice therapy in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. My counselor experience includes serving as a Primary Substance Abuse Therapist, Virtual Eating Disorder Program Therapist and Clinical Assessment Therapist. I enjoy walking trails, outdoor yoga and traveling.

As the 2nd School Counselor, I plan on providing short-term individual counseling to PK-8th grade students. As well as, classroom guidance lessons and small groups to the middle school students. To benefit and meet the needs of all eligible students, I will also be meeting with parents, collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations. To begin counseling services, please complete the Online Counseling Form.

I will also provide classroom guidance lessons for the school. These lessons are designed to help students learn about themselves, interact in a positive manner with peers, and develop skills to succeed in their academic environment. I will also be able to help with crises and behavioral intervention on campus when needed.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Fierro at (210) 824-3381 or michael.fierro@blessedschool.com.
