Students may bring a picture of their pet, or a stuffed animal, or have their parents bring their pets for the prayer service. Announcements & Reminders

  • $2 PTC Free Dress Days

Each month, students have the option to participate in a Free Dress Day for a $2 donation. All money collected is placed into the student’s classroom party savings account and helps offset the cost of classroom parties throughout the school year. Participation is completely optional and is not required of any student. This is simply a fun and easy way for students to contribute toward their classroom parties in small increments throughout the year. We invite you to preview the Free Dress Day guidelines and monthly dates so you can plan ahead.

  • International Dot Day

Students are invited to celebrate by wearing clothing or accessories featuring dots, circles, or polka dots. International Dot Day is not a Free Dress Day. Students who choose to participate may wear jeans or cargo shorts with a top that meets the Dot Day theme requirements. All clothing must be modest, appropriate for school, and consistent with the mission and values of our Catholic school. Students who do not wish to participate in International Dot Day must wear their regular school uniform. Let’s have fun, be creative, and remember that every one of us has a unique mark to make!

  • Bulldog Family Night

Our September Bulldog Family Night will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Coordinated by our PTC Leadership Team, this one hour meeting will allow for important school updates, extracurricular activities sign-up, and fellowship with our Bulldog families. Any student with at least one parent or guardian in attendance will receive a Free Dress Day on Monday, September 28, 2026.

🎃 The Día de los Bulldogs Booth Shifts will be posted at the end of the meeting, so those attending will get a chance to sign-up!

  • Superintendent's Visit

Dr. Marti West, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, will be visiting Blessed Sacrament Catholic School on Thursday, September 17, 2026. During her visit, I will have the opportunity to share our school’s focus areas in Mission and Catholic Identity, Academic Excellence, and Communion and Community, as well as the work we are doing to strengthen these areas throughout the school year. Please join me in warmly welcoming Dr. West to our campus and sharing with her the many blessings, accomplishments, and excitement of our new school year!

  • School Feedback Surveys

As discussed during our Back to School Nights, I have asked the School Council to evaluate our current contracted vendors for school uniforms and lunch services. This review is intended to ensure that our vendors are effectively meeting the needs and expectations of our school community. Your feedback is an important part of this process. I invite you to take a few minutes to complete each survey and share your experiences and suggestions. Both surveys will remain open through Friday, September 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and for helping us identify opportunities for improvement.

  • TEFA Interest

The Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops (TCCB) has communicated with Catholic school principals regarding initial planning for the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) Program moving forward. Although families who were unable to apply this year cannot submit an application for the current school year, there is an opportunity to express interest in applying for the 2027/2028 school year. We invite you to indicate your early interest by completing this form. This information will help Catholic schools and the TCCB better understand the level of interest as the Texas Legislature considers potential increases in funding for the TEFA Program. Families whose students are currently on the TEFA waitlist, as well as families who did not apply this year, are encouraged to complete this form.
