The First Week of Advent - Hope




Heavenly Father, As we enter this season of Advent, we open our hearts to the light of Your hope. In this first week, renew in us a joyful anticipation of the coming of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to trust in Your promises, to wait with patience, and to be filled with a hope that does not fade. May Your grace strengthen us to walk in faith, knowing that in Christ, all things are made new. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • Bulldog Fellowship Night

    Due to the ongoing surge with COVID-19, Tuesday's Bulldog Fellowship Night has been canceled. I will be using that time to meet virtually with Homeroom Parents to discuss spring programming, St. Valentine's Day Parties, and Catholic Schools Week.

  • NWEA Testing

    Last week, NWEA experienced difficulties with their servers and services. Therefore, we will reattempt testing on Wednesday and Thursday for students in Third Grade through Eighth Grade in language and science. Students who are on campus will test in their classrooms, so please ensure they have a charged device. Those students who are not on campus will be tested in the upcoming three weeks. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

  • Cold Weather Dress Day

    The National Weather Service is predicting colder than usual weather this week. As such, Thursday and Friday will be Cold Weather Dress Days for students and the uniform will be adjusted as follows:

    Girls may wear solid blue, black or khaki pants with their uniform top. Denim, denim like, leggings or warm-ups may not be worn. School shoes must be worn.

    Boys may wear a red, white or blue long-sleeve t-shirt under their school polo.

  • Onsite COVID Testing

    Blessed Sacrament Catholic School will once again offer onsite COVID-19 testing for our families, parishioners, and staff members on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Adults without students and Adults with students will test between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with students without adults testing at 10:00 a.m. Those interested in testing must register using this Online Testing Registration link. Additionally, the wellness center asks that you please complete the Onsite COVID Testing Forms before arriving.
