The First Week of Advent - Hope




Heavenly Father, As we enter this season of Advent, we open our hearts to the light of Your hope. In this first week, renew in us a joyful anticipation of the coming of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to trust in Your promises, to wait with patience, and to be filled with a hope that does not fade. May Your grace strengthen us to walk in faith, knowing that in Christ, all things are made new. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • Catholic Life Raffle Tickets

    Catholic Life Raffle Tickets are being sent home this week with all students. This raffle is the only mandatory fundraiser for students this year. We kindly ask that 20 Tickets and $100.00 be returned to the School Office by Friday, January 17, 2025. Additional tickets can be picked up in the School Office.

    We will provide an opportunity for students to sell their tickets following the Masses at Blessed Sacrament on November 9-10, 2024 and January 9-10, 2025. A sign-up will be available as each date approaches.

  • IXL and Reflex Math

    During our Back to School Nights, families asked for parent resources to help promote IXL (K-8) and Reflex Math (3-8). Our Academic Team would like to provide an IXL Parent Resource Letter that outlines how to use IXL and home and explains an IXL Smart Score. For Reflex Math, we would like to provide the directions on how to create a Parent Account for Reflex Math. The page also provides additional links for parent resource articles.

  • BTS Information and Instructional Schedules

    I would like to extend my appreciation for all of our families who attended our 2024/2025 Back to School Nights! All teacher presentations, handouts, and instructional schedules are now available online on our Bulldog Headquarters (HQ) Information Page.

  • Bulldog Family Mass

    The Blessed Sacrament School Council and PTC Executive Council invite you to our Bulldog Family Mass on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. This Mass brings our community together at a Eucharistic celebration reinforcing the role families, the Domestic Church, plays in the life of our parish community. All are invited!

  • Policy Clarification: Undershirts

    At our BTS Nights, there was a question regarding undershirts. I did not have the handbook with me, but I did commit to sharing the updated policy in Spike's News. The updated policy is as follows: "Boys and girls may wear a solid red, solid white or solid blue short-sleeve or long-sleeve t-shirt under their school polo." (Appendix D, Page 57)

  • Labor Day

    Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, School, and Child Development Center will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024, in observance of Labor Day. It is our prayer that all in our community, especially those who labor, enjoy an extended weekend with family and loved ones.
