All parents, guardians, and grandparents are invited to our September Parent Education Night – A Child’s Brain – on Tuesday, September 26, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.  This one-hour, interactive session will give an impressive overview of brain basics: how the brain grows and develops, language and executive function and how these skills are intertwined, how relationships affect development and behavior, and how we can support all areas of brain development in the healthiest way.

Our presenter will be Mrs. Kristy Rangel, an independent consultant specializing in organizational health, professional learning design, and facilitation on conversations that matter. Her knowledge of leadership, early childhood education, community engagement, facilitation, and continuous quality improvement is wide-ranging. Her work with businesses, non-profits, public agencies, and academic institutions gives her a unique insight into the key drivers in organizational development. Prior to launching her consulting business, Kristy was the Head of Professional Learning for Pre-K4SA, an early childhood program that is one of a kind in the nation.

Mrs. Rangel is passionate about moving ideas into action and her personal mission is to connect, engage, and amplify human potential in individuals, families, and organizations Parents, teachers, and caregivers are all brain builders of the young children within their care.
