Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is pleased to announce our ON MY WAY TO PRE-K Initiative for the 2020/2021 school year to celebrate our acceptance into the Pre-K 4 SA Grant Program! We have several registration and enrollment specials for qualifying families. Our goal is to provide quality education and formation for our students and increased access to Early Childhood education for those in our parish and community. Blessed Sacrament Catholic School has been accepted into the Pre-K 4 SA Competitive Education Grants program for the 2020/2021 school year!
The Pre-K 4 SA Competitive Educational Grant will focus on the following high quality impact areas:
- Instructional Quality
- Physical Learning Environments
- Family Engagement and Outreach
- Innovative Learning
Blessed Sacrament will be implementing the HighScope Curriculum for our Pre-Kindergarten 3 and Pre-Kindergarten 4 classrooms. HighScope places a high emphasis on Teacher-Student Interaction, the Classroom Environment, the Daily Routine, and Authentic Assessment. The school administration, early childhood faculty, and instructional assistants will be trained in this curricular approach ensuring fidelity to the program and educational grant.
