The First Week of Advent - Hope




Heavenly Father, As we enter this season of Advent, we open our hearts to the light of Your hope. In this first week, renew in us a joyful anticipation of the coming of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to trust in Your promises, to wait with patience, and to be filled with a hope that does not fade. May Your grace strengthen us to walk in faith, knowing that in Christ, all things are made new. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Announcements & Reminders

  • Christmas Wear

    In the spirit of building community and celebrating Christmas, students and staff members may begin wearing Santa Hats, Christmas Socks and/or Elf & Reindeer Ears beginning Monday, December 2, 2024. All we ask is that they not become a classroom distraction and may not be worn in Church. Also, items should be clearly marked with your child's name and grade level. Blessed Sacrament is not responsible for lost items.

  • Bulldogs for Christ Service Journals

    The deadline for submitting First Semester Bulldogs for Christ Service Journals is Friday, December 13, 2024. Teachers will be using the service journals for project grades in various classes. Additional service journals can be picked up in the School Office if needed.

  • Early Dismissal

    On Friday, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School will dismiss students at 12:30 p.m. Both lunch and after school care will be provided, but we kindly ask that you contact the School Office at (210) 824-3381 if you will be needing ASC so that we can plan accordingly. The Faculty and Staff will gather at 1:00 p.m. for our Advent Retreat.

  • A Very Merry Date Night

    Our Family Success Team will be a hosting A Very Merry Date Night on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. giving parents and opportunity for a date night! The cost is $8 per student and includes dinner, arts, and crafts. Students may be dropped off between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and must be picked up no later than 10:30 p.m. This event will take place in the Parish Banquet Hall and requires pre-registration by Thursday, December 12, 2024.
