Hi Blessed Sacrament Community! I’m so excited to join your school family this year as your school counselor! I’d like to share a little about myself.
I was raised in Burnet, Texas just about two hours north of San Antonio. After high school I received my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. I then spent some time in San Antonio where I attended Saint Mary’s University and earned my Master’s in Community Counseling. I have always had a passion for working with children so after graduation I decided to pursue teaching.
The past five years I have been a first grade teacher and then a school counselor at Saint John Paul II Catholic School in Houston. My husband and I got married in January and recently relocated to San Antonio which led me to Blessed Sacrament. I have a passion for Catholic education and I’m thankful for the opportunity to work with the students, faculty, and families of Blessed Sacrament. Have a safe and blessed last few weeks of summer!
