What an exciting time of year, the beginning of 2018! We have been busy in Middle School Religion class this week. We have just finished the Noah and Tower of Babel story with 6th Grade; teaching them the importance of our obedience to God. In 7th Grade we have been discussing and learning about the Synoptic Gospels, Mark, Matthew and Luke; how and when they were developed and the community they spoke to. Our 8th Grade class has been studying the 5th and 6th Commandments, “Thou Shall Not Murder and Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery.” They are learning that even within our brokenness we are called to love one another.
This semester we look forward for some new experiences in our studies; we will be visiting the Holocaust Museum, preparing for the Living Stations, May Crowning and 8th Grade Graduation. Our Middle School students will continue to pray for our parish family that we have an “Awesome” 2018!
