The First Week of Advent - Hope




Heavenly Father, As we enter this season of Advent, we open our hearts to the light of Your hope. In this first week, renew in us a joyful anticipation of the coming of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to trust in Your promises, to wait with patience, and to be filled with a hope that does not fade. May Your grace strengthen us to walk in faith, knowing that in Christ, all things are made new. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

    Please join me in thanking our FACULTY & STAFF for being OUT OF THIS WORLD! As we celebrate this appreciation week, I thank them for their vocation and ministry to Catholic education. Also, thank you to all parents, grandparents, and guardians who are assisting with this week's celebration! All Homeroom Teachers have a list of students who have donated towards the week with the number of respective Free Dress Day Passes. Students may use their passes on any day with the exception of Fridays or Mass Days.

  • Early Childhood Roundup

    Thank you to the many families who have been promoting our 2023 Early Childhood Roundup as we promote our Pre-Kindergarten 3 through Second Grade program here at Blessed Sacrament! We will have an Early Childhood Playdate on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and we ask that you please consider bringing a prospective family who may be looking for an early childhood education. Any student who attends with a prospective family will receive 20 Bulldog Bucks!

    Additionally, a $100 Tuition Discount will be given to any referring family who enrolls at any grade level!

  • Scholastic Book Fair

    Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair will take place Monday, May 8, 2023, through Wednesday, May 17, 2023. This book fair will take place in the Parish Banquet Hall's Room 201. Students will have the opportunity to visit the book fair during the school day, but families are also invited to visit during extended hours.

  • Starbase Kelly Showcase

    All families are invited to the 2023 Starbase Kelly Showcase on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at St. Gerard High School! Some of our Middle School students have been working all semester on preparing their project and the program will culminate on Thursday!

  • Mass with Moms

    All Moms, Grandmothers, and Mother Figures are invited to our 2023 Mass with Moms on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. This annual Mass takes place on the Friday before Mothers' Day and celebrates the special relationship between a mother and her children or a grandmother and her grandchildren.

  • Graduation Dance

    All Middle School students are invited to the Class of 2023 Graduation Dance on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the School Gym. The dance is open to any Catholic Middle School student in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. For more information, please contact an Eighth Grade parent!
