The First Week of Advent - Hope




Heavenly Father, As we enter this season of Advent, we open our hearts to the light of Your hope. In this first week, renew in us a joyful anticipation of the coming of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to trust in Your promises, to wait with patience, and to be filled with a hope that does not fade. May Your grace strengthen us to walk in faith, knowing that in Christ, all things are made new. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Announcements & Reminders

  • Sacrament of Reconciliation

    Students in Second Grade through Eighth Grade will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Monday at 9:00 a.m. We encourage students to make a healthy confession as we approach Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

  • Holy Week Services

    Our parish is offering a number of services this Holy Week that are rich in tradition and history! We invite you to participate with your family in as many activities as possible illustrating how important this week is in our faith. Please refer to Spike's News, the Church website, or the Church's social media accounts for more information.

  • Early Dismissal

    On Holy Thursday, students will be dismissed at 12 Noon. Lunch will not be provided. We will have limited After School Care services from 12:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for those families needing child care. Please contact the School Office at (210) 824-3381 should you need ASC on Holy Thursday.

  • Easter Monday

    Easter Monday is a holiday for Blessed Sacrament Catholic School as we rejoice and celebrate Christ's victory over death! Classes will resume on Easter Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
