Parent Teacher Committee

 

The Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) is established to build a closer bond between home and school.  Active participation in this club is essential, and there is no better application of a parent’s time than taking an active part in activities that benefit the children of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School.

The purpose of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School PTC shall be to coordinate programs to enhance Catholic Education in the homes and school at (school) by the following means:

•  To promote the welfare of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School by strengthening the relationship between the home and school;
•  To promote parental rights in education by providing and coordinating legislative action on behalf of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School;
• To provide educational programs for parents;
• To serve as a conduit of information to the public at large regarding Blessed Sacrament Catholic School; and
• To be a resource for fundraising opportunities.

The Blessed Sacrament PTC Executive Council is responsible for the following events and activities such as Bulldog Fellowship Nights (PTC General Meetings), Homeroom Parents, Classroom Parties, the Back to School Social, Pictures with Santa, The Christmas Shoppe, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, and The Taste of Blessed.  The Principal may ask the PTC Executive Council to assist with other designated events and activities.
