Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is pleased to announce the expansion for Extracurricular Clubs and Organizations.  The decision to provide additional responsibilities was made based on parent feedback, student interest and our school’s commitment to educating the whole child.  Beginning November 1, 2017, the following clubs will be added to our extracurricular schedule.
Gardening Club is open to students in 3rd-8th Grade.  Students will learn to grow and care for plants, vegetables, herbs and flowers. The Gardening Club in the School Cafeteria and students will need a pair of gardening gloves. The Gardening Club will meet on Thursdays beginning November 9, 2017 from 3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Glee Club is open to students in 4th-8th Grade.  Glee Club is a performance club in which students improve vocal skills and express themselves through singing. The Glee Club will meet in the Parish Hall (Room 202) and students will need a three-ring notebook in which to put music and pencil for marking music. The Glee Club will meet on Tuesdays beginning November 7, 2017 from 3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

International Folk-Dancing is open to students in 4th-8th Grade. Students will learn to perform dances from around the world.  International folk-dancing fosters cultural awareness.  The International Folk-Dancing Club will meet in the Parish Hall (Room 202). The International Folk-Dancing Club will meet on Mondays beginning November 6, 2017.

Speech and Drama Club is open to students in 5th-8th Grade. Speech and Drama club fosters an appreciation of spoken language and expression through speech and acting.  Students will improve their projection, inflection, diction, and prepare for speech contests. The Speech and Drama Club will meet in Mrs. Gomez’s classroom and students will need a spiral notebook, pens and pencils. The Speech and Drama Club will meet on Wednesdays beginning November 15, 2017 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
