That is exactly what the fourth and fifth grade Catholic Arts and Academics Competition (CAAC) team has been doing for the last 3 months.

Their STREAM challenge was to build a car that propels forward using a rubber band as the power source. As a team they had to design a car, define problems and constraints, and brainstorm possible solutions. After the planning stage, they built their car and tested it out. It was at this point that the team needed some help with propulsion. Mr. Carrillo gladly collaborated with them to help with improvements to their design. Next, they will be given a bag of supplies to show off the skills that they learned and build a replica in an hour and a half. Some might be worried, but this team has what it takes to succeed.

Joshua Chapter 1 verse 9 tells us “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
