This year, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School has entered into a partnership with PK4SA. In particular, our school has benefited from professional development and resources which have promoted STEAM activities. The grant allotment has allowed for the purchase of STEAM supplies to support classroom projects.
Our Pre-Kindergarten 4 students have been very busy learning about flowers and patterns using various science projects which challenges students to use their creativity to put it all together! One of the many science and math lessons that we have done is making shapes using pretzel sticks and marshmallows to make different type of houses.
Blessed Sacrament is one of two schools that was selected for this program and this is the first year of the program we are honored to be apart of this program.
