Friends of Blessed Sacrament,

Once again, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School will be coordinating an Angel Tree Project benefiting the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, the Sisters of Divine Providence and the Sisters of Charity.  Each of these religious orders have a direct connection to our parish and school.

The Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament (IWBS) adminsitered our parish school for almost three decades.  Their charism and presence allowed Blessed Sacrament to educate hundreds of children during their tenure as administrators and teachers.  Sr. My-Hanh Tran, CDP is a Sister of Divine Providence and is currently our school’s art and elementary religion teacher.  Finally, the Sisters of Charity are the founding religious order of the University of the Incarante Word.  As members of the Brainpower Connection, we have the opportunity to share our charity with these great women of faith!

As with previous years, we will have an electronic format for our Angel Tree Project.  Families are asked to select a sister or group of sisters to sponsor, purchase the requested wish list items and return them to the School Office by Tuesday, December 17, 2019.  Please do not hesitate to contact the School Office at (210) 824-3381 if you have any difficulty in selecting a religious sister or have questions about their wish list.

The Sisters of Charity at The Village (Extended Care, Assisted Care and Memory Care) have requested any of the following items: Shampoo, tissues, toothpaste, body wash, forever stamps, non-skid socks, body lotion, puzzle books, note cards, candies. We simply ask whatever item(s) are purchased for your adopted CCVI Sister are wrapped and marked with their name.
