Introduction Letter

Dear Prospective Parents and Guardians,

Greetings from Blessed Sacrament Catholic School where we have been Building the City of God Beginning with a Spiritual and Academic Foundation for over 50 years!

I would first like to thank you for expressing interest in considering Blessed Sacrament Catholic School as an educational and spiritual opportunity for your children.  Time and time again, the Church has stressed that parents are the first and primary educators of their children.  By taking the time to explore schools within Archdiocese of San Antonio, you are teaching your children the importance of prayer and research.

Blessed Sacrament was founded in 1958 and remains a beacon of hope and light for North Central San Antonio.  The school is involved in an active relationship with Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  Currently we serve 240 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.  Several years ago, the School Council made the decision to decrease class sizes by hiring additional teachers.  The school prides itself on a student-teacher ratio of 14:1.  This small ratio is consistent with the educational research that finds small class sizes increase student performance.
