Families of Blessed Sacrament,
As you are reminded in your school’s mission statement, Blessed Sacrament strives to provide quality education and formation of the whole person…
All of our Catholic schools are entrusted to nurture the whole child, providing education and formation that promotes their intellectual, academic, spiritual, emotional and social development. We continue to work towards more fully meeting the emotional, social/behavioral needs of our students, through our counseling and student support services. The Archdiocese of San Antonio, Department of Catholic Schools is pleased to begin a fourth year of partnership with Our Lady of the Lake University, Department of Psychology, a second year of partnership with St. Mary’s University, and a new partnership with Texas A&M San Antonio, to provide many of our schools with graduate student counselors to serve our school communities.
We are blessed to be able to offer these services to our Catholic school principals and teachers, and to you, our parents and students. We strive to further strengthen the school-parent partnership, to provide support to parents as primary educators of their children, and to continue to do all that we can to help you in working toward the formation of the WHOLE child.
We believe that through a Christ centered, Solution-Focused approach to counseling and working together, each child can be successful in school!
For further information about the counseling services, should you have questions or concerns, or need to request services for your child, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Fierro through the school office.
We look forward to a wonderful 2017-2018 school year!
Blessed Sacrament Counseling Staff.
