Happy New Year!
"YOU ASPIRE TO GREAT THINGS? BEGIN WITH LITTLE ONES."
~ST. AUGUSTINE~
Written by Dr. Lindsay Clavere
The New Year is still in effect the full month of January, inviting us to continue reflecting on the past year so that we may establish new paths and goals for the coming year. The New Year gives us space to renew, recommit, and even reinvent ourselves for the greater purpose of answering God's call to grow our talents, be in service to others, and grow closer to
our God.
The good news is, our students didn't wait for the New Year to begin their work on growing, serving, and building their relationship with God. Enjoy the images that reveal our Blessed Bulldogs modeling the words of St. Augustine:

Bulldog Fellowship Night:
Families who PLAY together STAY together
Tuesday, January 17 , 2023 | 6:30pm–7:30pm | Parish Banquet Hall
We are planning a fun, family game night, based on the premise, "Play . . . is critical in our stressful go-go lives. Play has been shown to release endorphins, improve brain functionality, and stimulate creativity. Play improves memory and stimulates the growth of the cerebral cortex (Michael Forman)." Following family game time, Ms. Katherine McVay, our licensed professional counselor on staff, will present on the benefits of play from a clinical perspective, and will also provide resources for families, specific to grade level. This BFN will highlight social connection through the filter of fun and games and is open to all families!
This year's theme is Catholic Schools:
Faith. Excellence. Service.
Principal Fierro has an exciting week in store for the Blessed Bulldogs during this annual celebration of Catholic Schools in the United States, now in its 49th year!
Pope Francis reminds us, “Catholic education is also
evangelization: bearing witness to the joy of the Gospel and its power to renew our communities and provide hope and strength in facing wisely the challenges of the present time."
