Adopt-a-Sister Program

The Angel Tree Project

Once again, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School will be coordinating an Angel Tree Project benefiting the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament (IWBS), Sisters of Divine Providence (CDP) and the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco (FMA).  Each of these religious orders have a direct connection to our parish and school.

The Sisters of Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament staffed our parish school for several decades.  Sr. My-Hanh Tran, CDP is a Sister of Divine Providence and is currently our school’s art and elementary religion teacher.  Sr. Suzanne Miller, FMA is our parish’s Director of Religious Education.  These religious orders have a long history of serving our school community and the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

This year, our has moved to an electronic format for our Angel Tree Project.  As in previous years, families are asked to select a sister or group of sisters to sponsor, purchase the requested wish list items and return them to the School Office by Friday, December 14, 2018.  Our students will then ensure each religious order gets their Bulldog Christmas gifts!

We truly thank you for your continued generosity! Please do not hesitate to contact the School Office at (210) 824-3381 if you have any difficulty in selecting a religious sister or have questions about their wish list.
